This used to be 2nd Hand Tunes and I haven't been inside since I bought The Cure's Standing on the Beach album a long time ago but music aficionados still come for rare and dusty finds, or to sell their stuff to the guys at the counter. Record stores are disappearing at the same rate as are many other specialty retailers. Sigh.

ReplyDeleteI think I last bought Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life there when I lived in Hyde Park, and was buying records. I've since sold the turntables and some records, although I have that and other vinyl gems awaiting the purchase of a cheap single one. But I'm glad to see that funky ol place still kicking.
