"All colors are the friends of their neighbors and the lovers of their opposites."--Marc Chagall. Ceramic mural "The Four Seasons" by Marc Chagall at the Chase Plaza. 21 South Clark Street.
I have this at night...just haven't posted it yet....you got it at a nice angle! just finished snowblowing 5-8 inches off the driveway...Maybe James is NOT so happy today!
Let's start from the beginning! The Flamingo is lovely. Usually love all Calder's works! Then we have György Stern and the memories of some great performances. It's a pity he could not conduct his 1000 concert with CSO... Chicago remembers and the Oriental Thetre have some excellent pictures. James looks great, though you seem to be under snow again... :(( and finally Chagall is my favourite. It seems to be under some kind of roof. Is that for the winter time. When I was there, it was open air... Thanks for your comments at Blogtrotter, where I finished my Greek Islands 2006 adventure with a post on Cretan Towns! Since it's Easter time, also made a post with some lousy pictures on Easter in Prague (1997) at Revival 90s. Enjoy your Easter Eggs and have a great weekend! Gil
Okay, that's it. I'm officially adding Chicago to my list of job search cities. Who cares if it snows there. I want to live in a town that features Chagall in its public spaces!
That looks wonderful, a great piece of artwork.
