Photography at the exhibit Sympathy for the Devil at the MCA (see yesterday's post) was limited to just this hallway where a line up of our favorite bad boys of rock and roll was hanging on the wall. Here's a photo of the women gazing at them...
Damn, I'm sorry I missed this show. Just don't get up to Chicago often enough any more. I'll be overnighting in Chi on Wednesday night next week before U "R" Us and I head out on a boys' long weekend, but too little too late. I am praying that the weather gods smile on O'Hare.
Nice pic BC. I like the mild backlighting on this and the B&W. Wish I could have seen this exhibit. I was browsing the local library a while back and there was an oversized book of portraits of rock and rollers and the story behind the pic. It was very interesting.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos.
ReplyDeleteWe miss Second City and Drake.
I like the black and white!!
ReplyDeleteYes, delicate B&W and great capture of people's position.
ReplyDeleteGood title. Sorry if this is a strange question, but I am wondering if staunch Christians would visit this (because of the name)?
ReplyDeleteI want to clarify - I meant "good title" for your blog entry. But later I am refering to the name "Sympathy for the Devil"
ReplyDeleteI like the b/w too. The bright exposure adds to the mood. Sounds like a good exhibit.
ReplyDeleteThis proves, women love bad boys of rock! Men take note!
ReplyDeleteWonder why they've put the photos so high? You're bound to end up with a stiff neck after going around the exhibition.
