35 E. Wacker. Giaver and Dinkelburg, Architect, 1926-27. This landmark 40-story building was once the tallest outside New York City at the time of its construction. Also known as the Jewelers Building, it has a beautiful, very classic design, elegant in both exterior and interior --definitely a must-see.
Read a review (and
see more pics) of this building that begins with the sentence: "It's not very often that we gush uncontrollably about a building..."
Beautiful! But it made me dizzy!!!
