Lucky you to be in the right place at an historical moment in time for our country. Actually, lucky you to be living in Chicago, where I lived for six years. I still love it, many years later. Thanks for the personal photo, too.
I'm way behind in my blog reading, but what a great picture. I'm still pinching myself about the election. How lucky to be there to hear the president-elect's acceptance speech.
obamamania! I didn't vote for the guy yet I nontheless take pride in the fact that a man of color has been elected president. I just wish it were a guy more prepared and more qualified to be president ;) My prayers are with him and I hope he does way better than I am expecting.
I would have been amazing to be there. Thanks for showing this.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you thought voting for President was fun, wait until you see the January theme day ballot just waiting for you to make your voice heard! 8^)
A truly amazing shot......Obama is everywhere....
ReplyDeleteHow lucky you could be there, being part of history.
