Where Our Sympathies Lie

Photography at the exhibit Sympathy for the Devil at the MCA (see yesterday's post) was limited to just this hallway where a line up of our favorite bad boys of rock and roll was hanging on the wall. Here's a photo of the women gazing at them...

  1. Damn, I'm sorry I missed this show. Just don't get up to Chicago often enough any more. I'll be overnighting in Chi on Wednesday night next week before U "R" Us and I head out on a boys' long weekend, but too little too late. I am praying that the weather gods smile on O'Hare.

  4. Yes, delicate B&W and great capture of people's position.

  5. Good title. Sorry if this is a strange question, but I am wondering if staunch Christians would visit this (because of the name)?

  6. I want to clarify - I meant "good title" for your blog entry. But later I am refering to the name "Sympathy for the Devil"

  7. I like the b/w too. The bright exposure adds to the mood. Sounds like a good exhibit.

  9. Wonder why they've put the photos so high? You're bound to end up with a stiff neck after going around the exhibition.

  10. Nice pic BC. I like the mild backlighting on this and the B&W. Wish I could have seen this exhibit. I was browsing the local library a while back and there was an oversized book of portraits of rock and rollers and the story behind the pic. It was very interesting.
